The Solon is so cute and clean! I’ve had my hair done by all the girls and always love my hair. Every time I walk in I feel so welcomed and always have a great time like I’m hanging out with my friends!

Marisa always does her thing! She’s knowledgeable, personable, reasonable and talented. The salon is a hidden gem and worth the hour drive it takes me to get there. It’s clean, aesthetically pleasing and plenty of parking.

10 out of 10 always! After 10+ years of not going to a hair salon a friend of mine suggested I go see Katrina and I’m so glad I did. Not only did she make me feel relaxed but so so happy and confident when I left my appointment. Shes so sweet and understanding. We chat through my appointments and the entire experience is just amazing. Im very self conscious when it comes to my skin as I suffer from psoriasis and my scalp and face tend to flare up at times. In the past I’ve had other stylist tell me that I should “get that checked out” or just make faces of disgust. I even had one that told me I was too young to have such a prominent spot where I was losing my hair because my psoriasis was so bad and even proceeded to show other stylists in the salon. Completely mortified I stopped putting myself through that and stopped going to get my hair done professionally. I will always remember when I sent Katrina a message explaining my nerves and apprehension and she responded with “you came to the right Place” and from there it has been nothing but a joy to get my hair done by her. My hair looks so healthy and long and I get compliments all the time. I hate when I have to miss an appointment because I now look forward to them. Although I haven’t personally had my hair done by Marisa or Amanda I’ve seen their work and they are all so incredibly talented, down to earth and friendly. The atmosphere at their shop is so calm and positive. It’s like the hangout spot you hear mens barbershops are lol. Everyone is talking, laughing and just having a good time while being pampered. Marisa has done my balayage for years and I have NEVER been disappointed. It’s always perfection and I always look forward to my appointments with her. She is so funny and easy to communicate with. You’ll spend your entire appointment laughing and end up with absolute perfection. Amanda has done my haircuts and she always listens to how much (how little) I want taken off and cuts with such unbelievable precision. AND she’s been my voice of reason when I start impulsively talking about changing my color and cuts to something she knows I’ll regret the day after. She gets me. THE BEST. Katrina did ALL the updos for a wedding I was in and LET ME TELL YOU every single girl was impressed at how perfect everyone’s hair looked and it lasted through a slightly rainy ceremony and the entire reception. All the girls at MAK are so unbelievably talented at all provided services. I could recommend them more!
